Terms & Conditions

Note for the VONIQ team This is a plain-language starting draft for a Canadian e-commerce and service business, not a certified legal document. Have it reviewed by a Manitoba/Canadian lawyer before launch, and confirm the highlighted fields in js/site-config.js.

These Terms & Conditions apply when you use voniq.ca or purchase accessories or repair services from VONIQ ("VONIQ"). By using this site, placing an order, or requesting a repair, you agree to the terms below. Repair services are also governed by our separate Phone Repair Terms & Conditions, which take priority on repair-specific matters.

1. Website use

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse it (for example, attempting to interfere with its operation or security). We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.

2. Orders & product information

We aim to keep product descriptions, images and information accurate, but errors can occasionally occur. If we discover an error affecting your order, we'll contact you before completing it. Placing an order is an offer to purchase, which we may accept or decline (for example, if an item turns out to be unavailable).

3. Pricing & taxes

All prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD). Applicable Canadian federal and provincial taxes are calculated based on your shipping province.

4. Payment

Online checkout for accessory orders is not yet connected on this site. Once it is, payment will be processed securely through a payment provider (to be confirmed), and VONIQ will not store your full card details. In the meantime, contact us directly to place an order. Payment for doorstep repairs is handled separately — see our Phone Repair Terms for details.

7. Product warranties

Manufacturer or product-specific warranties, where they apply, will be described on the relevant product page. Nothing in these Terms limits any warranty or remedy you're entitled to under Canadian or Manitoba consumer protection law.

8. Repair services, service area & authorization

By requesting a repair, you confirm you own the device or are authorized to request service on it. VONIQ offers two repair service types: Doorstep Repair, currently offered only within Winnipeg, Manitoba and select surrounding areas, and In-Person Repair at the VONIQ repair location; accessory orders remain available Canada-wide regardless of your location or repair service type. 9. Online purchase & disclosure information

Before you complete a purchase, we aim to make the following information available to you, as contemplated by Manitoba's Consumer Protection Act provisions on internet agreements: our business identity and contact information (see below), a fair and accurate description of the product or service, price and applicable taxes, shipping charges and delivery information, warranty information, our return and cancellation terms, payment terms, and an order confirmation you can keep as a record of the transaction. If any required disclosure is missing or unclear, please contact us before completing your purchase.

10. Intellectual property

The VONIQ name, logo, and website content (excluding product photos or content owned by third parties) belong to VONIQ. You may not copy or reuse them without our permission.

11. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, VONIQ is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from the use of our products, website, or repair services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right, warranty, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Canadian or Manitoba consumer protection law.

13. Your responsibilities

You're responsible for providing accurate order, contact, and repair-request information, and, for repairs, for backing up your device's data beforehand (see our Repair Terms).

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page is always the current one. Last reviewed: to be confirmed.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
